Lesley Deutsch has been involved with both horses and photography all her life. She dabbles in weddings, doing promo shots for rock bands, catching the everyday things around her, and generally just having fun. As life got busier, she began to build my own horse training business (www.bluefountainfarm.com), consequently her time for photography slipped away. Now, however, viewing everything else around me with a different "eye", and has rediscovered the magical connection between the camera and the horse. She am very lucky to have my own ranch, with plenty of equine and human models available. Lesley is a member of the International Horse Photographer's Assoc., as well as the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.

As a mother of four beautiful daughters, m home is one giant photo opportunity. In my wildest dreams I never would have thought that my days would be filled with dolls, puzzles, schools swim team, and even water polo. I adore life.
 
The dream of becoming a professional photographer started out 20 years ago. I attended a photography class in Vero Beach, Florida, It as upon my return to my home state of California when I started taking pictures of friends and family, While attending college, I met my amazing husband Jeff. We married and started the whirlwind of building our remarkable gamily. Over the last 16 years I have never ventured away from photography. Always with a camera in hand, I have had the thrill of documenting out wonderful lives her in Nevada City.
 
I am so grateful to be able to combine my love for photography with my love for life. Every job I take brings this distinctive combination and it is seen where it matters the most: in your images.

Daniel Brooks Art and Erin Pardini Photography have combined their creative talents to raise money for the 150th year of the Miners Foundry. Together they have created this original work of art (pictured) which is being raffled exclusively at Nevada City Picture Framing. Raffle Tickets are available at my shop. There will be 150 raffle tickets for 2 pieces of art and will be sold for $50 a piece.

Artist Statement

I have been creating these carvings for about 15 years, although, it has been most of my life, in one way or another.
 
I collect natural stones in from many different areas and wide ranging localities..."power spots" if you will.
 
I bring them to my work area, where they may sit for years. At a point, I am inspired to carve them individually. As I start, most signs and figures come spontaneously as I am working.
 
I have no real plan for any stone, as I start creating. It just "happens" as I carve...
 
I leave it to individuals to pick the stone they like. It may be that it has a message for them, perhaps a lesson...
 
It's up to the person to decide which one "touches" them, and, act accordingly.
 
Maybe it is waiting for a person to recognize it, and it's message. Or, just to enjoy it as it is.
 
Many people find, after they take one home, and maybe think, or meditate, on it, that it has a meaning not immediately recognized, or obvious.
 
I invite you to try this here, in a nice setting, and see what, if anything, you see in them...
 
I have been commissioned to create many for people on an individualized, spiritual, basis. Either using their designs and wishes, or, as inspired by personal contact with that person, or persons. I invite you to look, feel, consider these stones. As you do so, you may find one "speaks" to you. Many have messages for you to see. They may inspire you to want to create your own, or, have me create one for you, based upon my contact and impressions of you. I am available to meet and create, as a person desires.
 
I am available for custom work, based on your wishes, and can work in various scales and settings.
